Subject: more build fun

playing around with Build Cyclone tonight, I think I've figured out the proper arrangement to make him into BK's arms. All w/o instructions too...

Anyways, put him in arm mode, then plop him down by himself, and he's a micromaster base!
and if you flip him back so he's resting on his feet and swing the connection arm forward, theoretically, anyways, you could connect him with Typhoon and Hurricane, and maybe Build Boy in the middle too, as a fairly large microbase. With a giant laser cannon, sensor arrays, and a big claw/scoop thing.

Build City!

Ooh, I can't wait... Just wish I had more Micromasters. On the other hand, the one Micromaster I do have has a big yellow crane/cannon trailer, so he'll fit in just fine with the Build Boyz. Oh yeah. Erector's one transformer who won't have his name revived for new toys...

Are Japanese Transfans boring, or did someone else make a base out of Build King and I just haven't seen the pics yet?


snagged a blue Bionicle toa for $4.90 at TRU, it was only missing one of the small gears. Neat! Just two more of them, then four of the Turaga, and I can make a hideous sea monster Bionicle. Although I may have to get a couple more blue toa in order to have enough double ended ball/socket limbs for the tentacles...

And I got the two white McDonicle figs I snagged off eBay last week for $2 plus s/h. Yay, they have a new head to put the masks on! It doesn't have glowing eyes like the Toa or Turaga, but it IS a new head, and that's cool. Doesn't attach with the crossbars though, so I'll have to figure something out for articulating it with a ball/socket.
The six man gestalt they show using the McDonicle figs is kinda neat, now I want a full set! man this stuff is addictive.

I've got Picollo sitting in the red folding chair that came with Lita. He's a little short for it, can't quite put his feet on the ground. ;)
