Subject: PORTCON Day 2

Today was a lot more laid back then yesturday was. Emerje and I did a lot of wandering and didn;t stay in one place nmuch when we got there. We eventually sttled down and Watched some Gokudo. A very funny and messed up series If I ever saw one! After what nmust have been a 4 episodes of that, we wandered around some more, We saw a few Episodes of Assembly insert, A cute little story of a really strong girl who becomes a idol singer and super hero. After that came one of the days Highlights. The cosplay showing! There were people dressed as FF characters, Zelda Characters, a group dressed as Akito, Ruri, anbd Yurika from Nadesico, A group dressed like the Characters from Yu Yu Hakusho. The Winners included Best Male: Some FF cosplayer Female, A mage from FF, Cutest: This adoirable little girl dressed as the Grim Reaper from Yu Yu Hakuso, and Best Group was the three who came dressed as Nadesico.

After the Cosplayu was done, Emerje and I went to a panal disscussion with A guy who is connecte4d with the APPP company (He's trying to get an Official job). He talked about some of the jobs with Anime production and editing. He gave us some preveiws of the upcomming JoJo's Bizarre adventure seruies and some more theatricqal relkeases. We stayed aroiund and asked some question and he gave us free posters! A Nice guy.

We then went to Macdonald's!

After we went around to Target and the Mall, we came back. We wandered a bit more and then sat down and watched some Music vids. BLEAH! We sat there for 45 minutes watching music vids by one person, anbd they were all BAD! The music never match3ed the series, there was little in production, and were just aweful!

Then was the big Event. The Auction. First they haed the silent auction so we sat there for three hours. Emereje kept looking at the girl dressed as Yurika (I was too but for a different reason :-) All of a sudden Emerje starts pointing and going "I KNOW YOU!" Turns out she was a person Emerje had been conversinbg about before Portcon and just happen to meet. Then the big auction cranked up, it had a lot of gamming books and cards, as well a some Anime things, Emerje tried to bid on an Optimus Prime figure but bowed out around 50 bucks. At one point the girl who acted as Auctioneer was presenting something from Sailor Moon anbd sacastically said "I know you all love Sailor Moon" I said "Damn right!" And that bassically ended the day.


Today is the last day. I'm gonna try to see the Sailor Moon Ami special and we got the contest winners to be anounced!
