Subject: Noon Madness.

I have to make an obligatory Ep2 post here so no forum is safe from the subject. I wanted to go to midnite madness but none of the 3 TRU's right by me were having it. There was one that was sorta by me that had Midnite madness, but i didn't know where it was and would probably get lost if i went on my own. None of my friends who i usually have as navigators wanted to go with me so i just decided to wait till the next day. I had to settle for "Noon Madness" I lined up outside the door at 11:50 and waited out in my own little line but it just wasn't the same *sigh*. My TRU didn't have an outrageosly great selection, but I'm happy with what i got. I really wanted Yoda, and Kit Fisto, but they wern't there.

I picked up the grapiling hook Jango.... ahh.... this is a TOY! It's loads of fun to play with. The removable helmet, pistols, and grapeling hook! I love grappeling hooks those things are loads of fun, you always have to have someone grapple on to the outside of a jet or speeder. Really fun stuff, i love this figure now, and i know i'd get a kick out of it as a kid too.

The Magnets are really nice too, i really like this action feature. I mean hell i screw around with just regular plain magnets all the time so toys with Magnets in them are golden. I know these arn't the first to do magnets lots of japanese toys do it already but i like this trend. Palisades is using magnets as a way of attaching stuff on the muppets figures.

I'm reeeeeaaaalllllyyyy hesitant about buying figures of the main characters tho' because we all know hasbro will come out with better versions later. Have you seen how cool the new Anikin looks!?

Thats a damn nice figure. I want the bare midriff amidala but i'm hoping it gets resulpted i don't think that one came out well, to "buff"... but i really want the one out now just cause i want a bare midriff natlie portman figure....

I'm also really taken with the jedi this time around, I've always found jedi rather boring, I prefer the han solo. lando calrissian, types, or criminals or soliders. Jedi were always *yawn* especially in ep1 cause they didn't do anything. But the ep2 jedi figures are really dynamic looking I'm thinking of at the very minimum getting all the action posed jedi because those are very nicley done figures.

Ugh I'm impressed with the ep2 figures, Star Wars has brought me back kicking and screaming. I pretty much have a 95% full collection of all [cannon and non stupid variant]POTF2 figures. Just after ep1 was i think where i stopped collecting pretty much, I got a few POTJ figures here and there but i just grew tired of SW cause it was to expensive. But now with lower prices, and fun toys i know i'm going to be back in swing. Errgh these and Muppets, and stupid Marvel Ledgends all at about the same relase date is going to be the death of me... i need more space.


I want an anikin on the swoop bike that things cool looking, I'm surprised it wasn't offered as part of the initial assortment.
