Subject: LOTR was drag hell
In reply to: k9 's message, "i agree with HP, but disagree with LOTR and Spidey being draggy." on 06:26:58 05/09/02 Thu

My first time watching it was a little irritating. The movie just went on and on and on and on...as a newbie I didn't know what the hell it was all leading up to, or when the movie would end. I thought gandalf's fall was the big thing, but oh, no, after that galadriel showed and and did some weird mumbo jumbo I still do not understand, and then the orcs came along...

Spider-man was very draggy as well. As raid fans, sure, we're OK with the character development, but by the nth time Norman Osborne was raving to himself people were shifting in their seats and going for bathroom breaks and kids were getting restless and crying and asking for Spider-man.

But the king of drag has to be Gundam cartoons. Boy, those really put me to sleep. :-)
