I deal with this allot but it really depends on the figure. I have no problems with my Ranma set except shampoo and Ukyo. You know what I do? My Super ultra secret unbeatable technique is..... putting change under the bases to balnce them out. I put a nickel or penny on one of the sides and usually this will fix it.

The other one is one dare already touched on with the wire. I usually use a pin then break off the ball head once its in all the way.

If your figures just bent funny, Soak it in hot water then position it corectly, actually over correct slightly from where you want it to compensate for change. Then Tie it up with twist ties and brace it so it wont move and throw it in the freezer. This will correct it.
