I was only able to get 8 songs, but of the 8 I have, Save Yourself and Turn to Gold are definately the most rockinest. I suspect the slower pace and general mood of the songs would be is probably due to Cornell since that just seems to be the way he's done things in recent years. It was even evident in Soundgardens last album. I dug Cornells solo album... probably one of the best overlooked cds in recent years. But if there were ever a voice that's best when accompanied by loud, crunchy guitars its Cornells. I think he's going through some sort of rock star "Oh crap! I'm almost forty!" crisis thingy and is trying to find an identity away from Soundgarden. Eh, probably more than anyone wanted to hear on the topic.

(who saw a CD-R of the demos sell for over $100 on ebay the other day)
