ah yes, doom 2. final level, gigantic staircase, and this portal shooting energy blasts at you. that turn into monsters. that try to kill you. I have no idea how anyone ever beat that level w/o cheating, I just turned on god mode and popped across, through the wall, where you find romero(think it was him)'s head. shoot it and win the game.


what was cooler was that in the previous level, there are 2 secret areas that contain portals to the secret Wolfenstein levels, where you shoot the shit out of nazis using doom weapons.

and in one of those levels, there's the commander keen room, where you find four Commander Keen's hanging on an alter, and you can kill them too.

id rocks.

one of the commander keen games had pong built into the main menu. ;)
