Well, in my districts high school, foreign languages were electives with Spanish, French, Latin, and Greek. They never fit in the scedule and I opted for computer and art classes. I did have the french teacher for study hall twice, and did pretty well in his eyes for someone who never took the class.


At the junior high leval it was required we take a semester of French, with Spanish being introduced after I left.
