Subject: Wrestlemania Thoughts

Well, I never actually watched the event. but read the play by play as it happened. I think it was a good showing top to bottem, a little predictable in some places, but Not enough for me to care. The thing with the Hogan chants was a shocker to the point where the WWF itself didn't know what to do (JR denied it up untill the ending). I'm actually surprised by Hogan. He's not what he used to be, he's got what is probably a broken rib or two, and is probably in the Last Wrestlemania in his carear. He actually did a CLEAN job to the Rock and by all accounts, had a decent outing. I am sure though they are setting up a Rock/Hogan v/s NWO match next month where the Rock turns and joins the NWO. I'm almost afriad that they wiull have Hogan turn back tonight in the WWF's Vain attempt to keep Hogan Heel and squash the fan reaction he got last night.

The world title match you could tell was written by Steph where as she became the focal point of the match and nothing surprising happened. But the match has been getting posative reveiws about it.

The Hardvore title series was a neat idea wiuth actual wrestlers holding the belt instead of hoes and Pat Patterson. I can only assume that they are leading up to a hardcore battle royal or something.

I've also noticed a lot of boo hooing from a small bunch of people who say that the caqrd sucked. These are mostly people who are NWO marks and if the NWO didn't win then the card will suck. Whatever. These people are so jaded that they might as well stop watching because they will never get what they want.

I'm hoping this sets off a upswing for the WWF (IE Steph isn't wriiting her own skits anymore) and am hoping Raw tonight will be just as exciting.
