Hmmm... that whole smallsville mess is an interesting argument.

"Ok, I'll be the party pooper...

These Smallville posts are getting old, not to mention they are off
topic.

Also, keep in mind not everyone gets to see the show on
Tuesdays. It doesn't air until Wednesday nights here in
Columbus, so coming to an action figure board and see these
discussions is doubly annoying when I haven't even had the
chance to see the episode yet (and I'm not even a spoiler-
phobe).

If I wanted to see Smallville discussions, I'd go to a Smallville
message board. Talk about the Smallville action figures all you
want here, but leave discussion of the show to appropriate
forums.

Of course that's just my (probably unpopular) opinion. Ultimately
the call belongs to Rob and Bobbi.

I'm a little surprised by how much flack jeffs getting for that I don't think it's that out of line. I think it may be the opposing people taking the other extreme, I think allot of the people who don't think it's right think Jeffs telling them to completly stop altogether. I think he just means to kick it down a knotch, cause i do think it been getting a bit overdone... okay maybe allot overdone in the smallsville case. I think if it was Dawsons Creek updates constantly people might act a little differently lol.

My personal opinon on the issue, is theres always going to be a certain degree of OT-niss because of where allot of toys originate from. But it's up to people to try and restrain themselves, I'll use a bad metaphor

Lets say i was at some sucky bussiness party at someone elses house. And lets say they have a bunch of Hor d'oeuvre's out, now those are really tasty, but genrally you try not to be a jerk and completly pig out on them. There for everybody, and theres kind of an unwritten rule to limit yourself at a certain time because it starts to reflect badly on you. If you go in there and eat all 5 plates of Hor d'oeuvre's your going to start to annoy other people... true yes they are for you to eat, and true other people do eat some, but just cause no ones telling you you can't eat all 5 plates doesn't mean you should.

Same with OT post, true they do get made, and true other people make them, but too many begins to reflect badly on people sometimes. Plus it'll help you look a little less geekly, when geeks totally spaz out and over obbsess over thing it's pretty embarressing, I sometimes fall prey to it myself at time, but usually try to watch myself and contain my inner geek.

.....unless they ever made ranma toys then i'd totally geek out and lose all compsure, but if that ever happens i give you guys permission to smack some sense into me.
