Subject: Just back from spending the new year in Malaysia

Aka Kawa country, heh heh heh.

Interestingly enough, there they're clearing the recent SW 12" stuff at about US$10. geez, wish Singapore would learn from them. these things will not move at $35 each, people! I got myself a 4LOM, although even for that price it still doesn't seem like a good buy. Lousy 3PO body...

They had some cool Monsters Inc premiums with their Nestle products. Got me a Boo pen with some chocolates, ugly but cool anyway, coz it's Boo. The cereal had some keen lenticular cards too, but all I could find was Mike....maybe I'll get it locally. Gotta go stalk the supermarts now. I was particularly impressed by their McD's Monsters promo. Singapore's was real lazy compared to what they had. Samne toys, but they also had a specially printed french fries cardboard and this sundae with green slime instead of the regular hot fudge. Now thats what I call theme marketing!

Didn't find much else, but I did get the Final fantasy anime (subbed, I think) for a few bucks.
