Subject: something wierd happened to my pc and modem.

now usually, when i dialup to the Internet, when the modem manage to logs on, there would be a modem status thingy icon showing at the taskbar.

But now, all of a sudden its not showing up. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it? or where should i ask this question?

I've already tried checking the "show modem status" box from my modem settings already, still no luck.
