I'm not going to bother with who-what and where's of this website business, coz I myself am not really qualified to talk about web-building. Well-designed pages with ease of navigation and searchability are hard to come buy, and making one takes years of trial and error anyway. Even now I'm keeping my own page simple coz I've realised that to make things look really spiffy takes too much effort, and that burns me out just thiking about it, which isn't very constructive....anyway,

But there's one thing I have to complain about. Don't ever, EVER use a larger image and resize it using html. Like this.

Resize it using a picture program like paintshop or photoshop instead. It's not so bad in your case coz the original pic isn't that big anyway, but it can work against you if you choose to do it as a mode of operation.

first, it makes a really nice pic look really ugly because it pixelates the picture and distorts the smoothness of the lines etc.

second, if it's a really big picture in terms of filesize, it will irritate the hell out of a surfer who has to wait for it to load, especially if it only takes up a small space on the webpage. Why make them wait to download a 200k picture when you only need it to be 40k? I've seen some horrible, horrible websites that do exactly that! They try to provide thumbnails to bigger pics, but they use the big pics for the thumbnails, shrinking them down in html! So instead of waiting for 20 30k files to load you can sit there and wait for 20 150k files...not everyone has a cable modem, and suffice to say I never ever ever bother to finish loading such sites, much less visit them again.

Just my 2 cents.
