Subject: Search for David Thompson's Relatives in New Zealand

Hello there,

I am assisting my uncle who would like to contact his paternal uncle Billy Thompson (wife called Florence?) or descendants of the above, who emigrated to New Zealand, possibly Auckland, in the 1930s.

My uncle is David Thompson, born in Longridge, Preston, Lancashire, England, in October 1927. He has a brother John born in either Preston or Nelson, Lancashire in April 1920. Billy Thompson had a brother John (Jack) born in 1888 (David Thompson's father), who remained in England and whose trade was painter and decorator. One of David's female relatives was married to a dirt track rider (name of Ricks?) who possibly rode for Coventry. David's paternal grandfather was one Fitzherbert Bugby Thompson.

If someone has information that could be of help with this search it will be very welcome.
