I am researching the DEMPSTER surname in New Zealand and may be able to help you.
Please forward me details [EMAIL- wasu66@hotmail.com ]of where in NZ. your Uncle settled, if possible. I will check electoral rolls for you.
My DEMPSTER line were from Germany and settled in Perthshire early 1700's, then my Gt.Gt grandparents came to Dunedin, Otago, NZ.1852.
