I tend to like the bad boys, I'm afraid. I really liked Crais, and I DO like Grayza, even though she was rather mean to Scorpie (although I'm not sure that, on a certain level, he didn't enjoy at least some of her treatment). Why? I like some of the S & M elements, for sure, but there is more to it than that. Especially with Scorpius, the character has such depth. He has come so far, considering where he started and how he was raised. (Actually, I don't think in reality he COULD behave the way he does considering the way he was raised. For example, in Incubator, he was punished because he said, "please." Who taught him the word "please," much less the concept of begging? Not the Scarrens, but they were the only species he had first-hand knowledge of at that point in his life.) Other characters I like are Sikozu, Lt. Braca, Noranti (granny), and Furlow. Braca is such a weasel, but he knows it and works with it. I love people, in general, who know their limitations and work around them. As far as granny and Furlow, I've said before I see myself as a combination of the two, although mentally I'm more granny, while physically, I'm more Furlow. The characters I hate? Jool, Stark, and Grunchlk stand out. They are annoying, annoying, annoying… not to mention annoying. WHY? They are whiners. My parents beat me too many times when I was I kid for me to tolerate the trait either in myself or in others. Well, Whosshe, you might have to sit this one out…. But what about you, NieMMY?
