Date Posted: 14:11:17 09/18/02 Wed Hi there, Yes, I am still living and breathing, last time I checked. Now, on to the business at hand - there is a "Save Farscape" campaign being waged and I hope that all of you are doing something to let someone know that you would like Farscape to continue in some format... Although I was thinking about it and perhaps this is a sign that we should enjoy what we have because you never really know when the rug will get yanked out from under you. Now - on to the "Wayne doesn't like his fans" idea. Well, I think that he doesn't really know that we exist. He has no computer and doesn't surf the net for amusement. Some of his friends might let him know a thing or two but overall, I don't think he really knows much about his fanbase. I am pretty sure that he knows about the "Save Farswcape' movement and that he is grateful for the energy and effort that his fans (and Scapers of all persuasions) are putting into resurrecting the show. However, I am also pretty sure that he is moving on, too. After the announcement tonight by DK and Ricky in chat, I will know whether it is time to gather the Scorpius/WP troops and work on getting a message to WP directly. I have two ideas for it - one immediate and one for November. Do keep in mind that the November Convention is coming up and it is time to start thinking about Con Books - SunRux and I are doing WP's book and I think that would be a great place for all his fans to put best wishes and goodbyes (if need be). I do think that I could arrange a more immediate missive to go to OZ to him, be it a combined snail mail or a community email. I will have to ask around a bit and see who would be willing to deliver it. I want to know what news we get from TPTB tonight (I have a feeling that they are going to urge us to give up or something but I think that they underestimate our obsessions) So that is it from my ivory tower here... I am glad to see NC and Niemmy and whosshe as well as ScorpiGirl here...AC will be back in a few more days. You are all keeping up a brave front with very minimal whining and I appreciate it. And NC - I owe you a letter and a package!!!! Better get off my ever-expanding butt and do that soon ;-) OK - back to your regularly scheduled assortment of tripe.
