Yes, unless he really went out of his way to make me at ease--the "God Object Syndrone," if you know what I mean. If you elevate an object of interest above you, it becomes an object of worship, and therefore becomes inapproachable. At the same time "oneness" with that object becomes the most desired objective in life. It becomes the central focus of your very existance... If I actually met him, how would I act? Would I wet my pants? Would I act like a total imbecile? Would I blubber incoherently? Or would I just kick back, take a fart, and buy him a beer? Half a planet is such a SAFE distance...
