I chatted with Whosshe tonight.
Her computer has a virus--or something...
Maybe a bad video card.
Her pointer keeps freezing, and she keeps getting only partial images. In her e-mail account, she was only getting the command buttons and, apparently, no dialogue box to write in!

Maybe she will come back if things straighten out, assuming she doesn't kill her computer outright in frustration.
