Hummm - that is a hard one because I have so many favorites - very early Elton John will always have a place in my heart because that is what I played in High school - Harry Belafonte and Nat King Cole were childhood favorites along with Burl Ives and Roger Miller (don't ask). I like Fleetwood Mac (currently like The Chain and drums in Tusk), Led Zepphlin and Alan Parsons Project. Favorite groups also include Nickel Back and Steeleye Span (really like Celtic - modern and traditional) - so anyway - lots of different types of music (did I forget to mention jazz???) 2. What is your favorite film? American Beauty, The Ghost and Mrs Muir, Alien, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Taylor and Newman - hot! - plus Burl Ives), Glass Managerie, any Dirty Harry movie, Goodbye Girl, John Wayne movies, Vincent Price movies... 3. What is your favorite TV program, past or current? Star Trek - the original series, original Wild, Wild West (first crushes were Spock and Artemis Gordon), the Avengers, Witchblade, Farscape, any histroy/science show about Eygpt or any archeology show, science shows, ABC In Concert (does that date me?)... 4. What do you feel has been your most important professional accomplishment to date? Getting my Ph.D. and surviving at the same job for over eight years - having patience and getting the job done on a daily basis. 5. Which project do you feel didn't live up to what you envisioned? Working in industry - although I really didn't have the personality for teaching when I was younger - now I think I could be a teacher and have the foresight and wisdom to do it well. 6. What is your favorite book? I, Claudius, any Anne Rice book (although some are pretty lame), any Wizard of Oz books, Tales of a Thousand Nights and One, Joseph Campbell books about myths and myth making, The Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling.... 7. If you could change one thing about Hollywood, what would it be? How much money folks get paid. 8. If you could change one public perception of yourself, what would it be? That I am insensitive - I am sometimes but not all the time. 9. What is your next project? I would like to say that getting Scorpius' Nest up and running again is up there onthe list but I think that my next project is a "real" project working on a site for a dessert caterer. 10. What is the one project that you've always wanted to do, but have yet to be able to? Get my NMR (real work related) website up and running in good form... I so need to do that!
