Following the Bison women's 23 point win at American, here are the latest Sagarin Rankings (out of 312 D1 teams) for PL women's hoops:

150 Bucknell
196 Holy Cross
214 Army
223 Lehigh
257 Navy
265 Colgate
284 American
287 Lafayette

Despite these rankings, it will be hard for the Bison to de-throne Holy Cross, who has won 8 of the past 9 PL regular season titles. The Bison last won the regular season title in 1995-96. Still, assuming no-one leaves, the future looks bright as this is essentially a team of only freshmen and sophomores, plus Lindsey Hollobaugh, who has been injured. Amanda Brown, a freshman who originally signed an LOI to play for Oklahoma State in the strong Big 12 before a coaching change brought her to B.U., could become one of the top players to wear a Bison uniform. They also have two other freshmen who are playing significant minutes. Sophomore Hope Foster is second in the nation n blocked shots, averaging almost 4 per game.
