Bucknell posted a release on their athletic website today detailing how advance general public tickets are sold out for the Jan 14 game against the Crusaders. Glad to see the fan base coming out for an important game.

Third sellout of the season. Wonder if there's ever been 4,200 plus at a regular season PL game before???

Too bad the students won't be back by then - it'll probably be the kinder, gentler crowd that was at the St. Joe game.

Lots of work to be done before that game, though - two difficult road trips south to Navy and American, which will require full attention and focus. I do believe the team will rise to the challenge, though.

While not technially a sell-out yet, I would expect that students and faculty would end up taking all of those available. If not, i assume that extras would be made available to the public. Any tickets not bought by students and faculty will go on sale 9AM of game day. Supposedly all students have been notified of the policy via e-mail so hopefully some will make the trek to Lewisburg. Picking up a student ticket on game-day will require a student ID to prevent scalping of tickets. Never thought I'd see the day when that would be an issue at Bucknell, especially with an arena that can accomodate almost 4500, but I saw tickets going for significant amounts of money outside Sojka not only for the Villanova game but also for St Joes, when students were on break.

I would hope so. There is a lot of people around the area looking for something to do and why not watch some great Division I basketball! Bucknell is the only game in town. SU is struggling and Lycoming is so-so. Plus the games are entertaining throughout. I think the BU athletic department goes a great job with atmosphere and making sure everyone has fun. The timeouts and half-time are always filled with something.
