Dan - I don't care if they played Lewisburg High School. It's not good for BU (whether they wanted to taunt or not - they were perceived as such - and that's as good as guilty in the media and general public's eyes).

As a stark contrast - I was at the Syracuse game this year - our men's team hardly celebrated on the court after the game. They acted like they expected to win - shook hands and walked off the court. The lack of celebration got very favorable press in the Syracuse paper the next day. It was as impressive as the win, in my opinion - and speaks to the depth of character, leadership and attitude of the men's program.

I agree it is not in the best tradition of "classy" athletics but it's still not a huge deal.

Kathy Fedoraka is a good person (She bought my Dad's house in Winfield when he really wanted out of the area so that weighs large in my opinion)
