So it wasn't just me! Check Hooptime, he has a link for Basketball U which includes a PL forum, which in turn includes boards for each school. It is new, so time will tell if it is better.

I also was unable to view the Sportsjuice video internet coverage of the Colgate game--radio worked OK. Is anybody else a video subscriber who had a problem on Saturday?

We all had video problems. I have an in with Birdsong, who coordinates this. I will call him this morning so that hopefully it is fixed for Navy next weekend. I'll keep you posted.

What I don't want to see is something where people are posting in both places and we have to look at two different boards. I think we should try this out and decide as a group whether we want to stay here or all move over there. I admit I like their board a lot at first glance. And if it's down half as much as Voy.com I'd be absolutely thrilled.

Thanks for the Basketball-U thread--I like the format a lot and would like to see the conversations develop on the site.

Have yet to play Army!

eric can (will) correct me if i am wrong, but i suspect that ooc opponents results are also hurting rpi noticeably. DePaul has fallen considerably, Syracuse and Villanova have struggled a bit, and even Duke lost. some other teams are also struggling e.g. Rider, Niagara, Santa Clara. i think paricularly the first group was elevating our rpi and is contributing to the decline. the noncon rpi is still much better at 24, but it had been in the teens for a long time.

correct. our opponents went 4-11 over the weekend... and that includes holy cross over american and villanova over syracuse. take out those two games and they went 2-9. thats going to hurt anyone.

our opponents really do need to start winning games for us, though. my rpi projection last week was down 0.006 from the week before. it will likely be down again this week. consequently, in the last two weeks we will have gone from 24-5 being borderline for an at-large to 25-4 being so. big, big difference for our chances.
