first, thanks for the write up on the game. your follow up assessment of what we should (and should not) take from the game was excellent. i do have one concern that you did not address, that Abe Badmus is struggling a bit at this point. he is as key a component in the games against top comp as Lee, Bettencourt and McNaughton.

what do you see going on with respect to this? how much impact on the upcoming games against Big East teams?

A question for Ken Z: I have yet to see a game so I am curious about your statement "that Abe Badmus is struggling a bit at this point." Have you seen the Bison games or just judging based on the box score(s)?

His line against Rider did not look terrible - 4 to 1 Assist:Turnover in 26 minutes, with 1 steal and 2 for 5 from the floor. Given that there were no fast break points, I wouldn't expect him to get a lot of points. Additionally, I had assumed that he played a few less minutes in the second half as Griffin and Vegotsky were used to try to generate more offense from the outside. Also I know he missed the inter-squad scrimmage due a "minor" calf injury but have no idea if that is a lingering problem. I'd be interested in any first-hand reports you have.

did not see the game. the comment was based on a statement made during the game radio coverage. i think Flannery made the statement, but it could have been one of the announcers. the statement indicated that he has been a bit off his game for a few weeks now, not just in one game.

i do recall that he started slowly last year as he came back from an injury, so that could be a factor.
