its a rather difficult question to answer. im not exactly sure how 'settled' things have to be in order to be settled. in one sense, things are settled now. at the same time, id like to get to the new year (really only about two weeks of games, since finals and christmas leave things quite light).

as things are, teams have a few spots of movement left in them. the pac ten can probably move up four spots to 6, the top ranked big ten wont fall lower than 3... et cetera.

a quick look at the conference rpi will show that the patiot league is currently closer to 20 than they are to 15. depsite being quite depleted, conference usa will pass us. the horizon should, as well. the southern and big west will both make moves forward as more games are played. so... my guess is closer to 20 than 16. we will finish ahead of the ivy league, though. i have a good feeling about that.

and as for the blog... ill probably get things going tomorrow. im not exactly sure what is going to come from it, but it will have capital letters. and apostrophes. its probably also going to skip what hooptime does really well (brief overviews of the games of the day with links galore) in favor of more focused and in-depth analyses. also, i plan on highlighting each of the leagues recruits somehow... people seem to love the information and its not always easy to find.

CAPITAL LETTERS AND APOSTROPHES? i thought you were all about the numbers, more of a kenpom.com for the patriot league.

i look forward to it in any case.
