That is why you build Dickinson and Ursinus into the schedule. I wish they would schedule D2 however rather than D3.

it appears Niagara was able to exploit the lack of a true point guard (14 turnovers between Lee and Bettencourt). rebounding also appears to have been a problem.

i did make it to the Yale game. Flannery used a lot of different combinations. at one point in the first half Lee and the four freshman were on the court for several minutes.

team needs more time playing together just to get in better sync. a number of unforced turnovers as players misread their team mates fakes and cuts. however, it was great seeing considerably more talent to work with than in recent years. all players went after rebounds and loose balls agressively which i think is also an improvement over recent years.

based on that game i thought Glover taking the ball handling duties with bettencourt at off guard might be the best bet this season. Badmus got very limited time and did not do much (one bad turnover and didn't create anything against their half court defense).

Skornik actually made several good offensive moves to create good shots, but could not finish. McNaughton is already a better offensive player, but needs to improve at the defensive end (defensive position and blocking out).

no opponents on the schedule that they cannot compete with, but there will be some tough days none the less. i would really like to see wins over Penn State and Holy Cross this year.

Add Northwestern tonight....a winnable game.

Of course, beating Penn State would be excellent. Arrogant bastards. They never come close to filling their place and won't come to Lewisburg once. This is even more proposterous condisering the new arena seats 4000.

knocking off NW tonight would be great as would a win over Charleston in their tournament. i singled out PSU and HC simply cause we see them every year.
