A "W". Ursinus had a kid who scored 37, the best 3 point shooter from 28 feet I have ever seen. They didn't have much else, though. McNaughton was the victim of some foul inducing action by Ursinus. Never seen these refs before, think they might have been dIII refs. Bett's shot continues to be off. Some good things, some bad things. The young kids must "grow" alot in order to win in the PL. Let us peay.

thanks for the report. can you clarify on foul inducing? were they getting McNaughton to commit foolish fouls or was it something else.

i remain optimistic re ability to compete in PL, but will be able to better assess after the Charleston tourney. however, compete does not mean win the regular season. not reasonable for fans to expect consistent enough performances for that, although i hope the coaches and team expect it of themselves.

Ursinus induced refs calling fouls by dramatically falling down, for example. They must be drama majors at Ursinus.

New factoid, Ursinus was a high seed in last year's DIII March madness, receiving a first round bye. They then lost 77-75 to the Carl Danzig coached University of Scranton.

If I were to want one area for the Bison to improve, it would be taking care of the basketball. Thet seem to have way too many turnovers, many of the unforced variety.

thanks for the explanation. rather hear that than that McNaughton was committing unnecessary fouls.

ball handling has been a concern to me since the beginning of the year. way too many unforced turnovers in the Yale game, but I expected that these would diminish as time went on. bigger concern was ballhandling against pressure D, an area which Niagara exploited. don't know if we have a good answer for that. hoped Badmus would develop into that role given your optimistic comments on him, but what i saw and his stat lines indicate that while he hasn't turned it over too often, he isn't creating a lot either.
