Other good things:

1. Won on the road without big offensive performances from Bett, Donald B. or Chris Mac.
2. Continued very intense defense.
3. More minutes of experience for the sophs and frosh.

all good points.

i generally avoid 'they should do x' type posts, cause i certainly don't know better than the coach. but, thinking about Bett's current shooting slump and the need to pull out of it, the following occured to me.

one thing i'd like to see tried now that Badmus is playing the point a majority of the time would be to push the ball up court and have Bettencourt spot up for a three. something of a fall back to the old Woolum run by the numbers offense. i know Flannery likes to run more set offensive sets, but this would be a high percentage shot. if that were in the game plan Lee and Brown are both good offensive rebounders who i think give the team a reasonable chance at the rebound in that scenario if they hustle up the court.
