They have inked Griffin an a 6 foot 8 inch, 240 pound big guy from Falmouth, Maine.

Sounds as if Brown did have a bad one in Easton. However, in a 3 game stretch earlier in the season, he was 22 of 25 from the field and was PL Rookie of the week. My point is, he has what it takes, even though as a freshman he is not exhibiting it in every game. Xbo, I assume you know McNaughton's Dad played football at Lafayette? I like him alot. As for his "D", the problem rookies have, amongst others, is that they play Friday night at Army where the refs let them bang. On Sunday in Easton, different crew calls them tight. Tough for a kid to guage. Big Mac was quoted in a LV paper as saying he thought this was DI basketball where they do bang. Remember, the kid played games at Mich. St, Northwestern, Penn St., College of Charleston, etc. The Easton game wasn't his first playing DI basketball. Clark has shown well in his last two starts. I agree Badmus needs to work on his jump shot, although his FG % to date is 48%, something our friends in Worcester would take in a heartbeat. You are also correct about no longer sneaking up on anyone. I also think no one will want to draw us in the tournament. The word in Bisonland is "building", and hopefully building quickly.

Not than Fran seems to need them, but I hope all conference teams go scholarship. Speaking of that, isn't it interesting that Don Devoe was silent on the issue when Navy was winning the PL with Booker, Heary, Savane, but now he is gripping about going up against schollies. Hey, we taxpayers pay for the Navy guys, and happily so given what they do for the country, but Don, come on, you've got many very good selling points and the economics of a free education at an esteemed Academy is pretty powerful.

Good luck.
