Bison men's basketball has a fourth recruit, forward Andrew Morrison of Lawrenceville Prep. He was going to go to Princeton to play for John T III until the coaching change took place. Good luck, Andrew.

Go Bison!!

Good info Bucky. Rounds out another good class for the Bison. Understand he is a 6'7" forward with a good outside shot. Any idea how strong he is on the boards?

I hear he is a tough kid and is the nephew of the new coach of the Sixers. I interpret that "tough" implies he is tough on the boards. Obviously a "smart" player. The center on his team at Lawrenceville, Yannick Noah's son, is going to the University of Florida.

I don't get overly concerned when they are not listed by the recruiting services. Rob Thomas has not been listed by any of the services either. while it is nice to have some sort of validation of ability, when you are below the high mid major level recruit, recognition by the "experts" is very inconsistent at best.

I have faith in the staff's ability to assess talent and potential. even with scholly's, we have to recruit based on potential to a substantial degree. I think Thomas has the potential to be similar to Charles Lee (who made second team all league as a soph), but then again he may not pan out. he will need to adapt, having played forward in high school with the athletic ability to play above most of those he competed with. the advantage of scholly's is the ability too attract more quality athletes with high potential than before with the reasonable expectation that more will ultimately develop into contributors.
