My point which I think you agree with is that apart from SAT scores, which are only marginally higher than other PL schools, Colgate is not in fact a step above the rest and this implies that Colgate's students are not inherently or matter of factly smarter. Looking at "student selectivity" Colgate is 22nd, HC 25th, Bucknell26th or 28th and Laf 33rd, pretty close if you ask me. Cheers.
