Women's b'ball team will participate in the women's preseason NIT next year. Also, have West Virginia coming to Lewisburg for a game. Not a top team, but still good to get a Big East team to visit.

Is it true that Creamer has decided not to transfer to a higher profile school and will play her last year at Bucknell?

She was never going to transfer.

Interesting. I was told by a Patriot League women's basketball coach that she was lookng at higher profile basketball schools to improve her chances of making the WNBA. I was surprised that she would consider that course of action in light of the fact she would have to sit out a year and you never know how you will fit in the new school's coach's plans. But I was assured that she had completed the necessary NCAA paperwork, whatever that is. I'm glad to hear that she (and I assume Almind) will remain at Bucknell. She is one of the few "money" players in the league.

WVU scheduled for Nov. 25th, well before the arena opens. I recall you observing the lack of a 'big name' men's opponent to help open the arena. I suspect this would have been difficult to pull off under any circumstances since PSU won't cooperate, but there was no chance with the arena opening in January when other schools have entered the conference season.

Great, thank you.

It's not bitterness, just disappointment. Of course, it's a middle of the year opening for the arena. I was hoping Wright would agree to bring Villanova north next year.

As for Creamer, to be honest, her transferring or not transferring is something I know nothing about. I need to come clean. It is just a matter of wishful thinking that she stay. My hope is that her increased exposure this year with schedule would help her know that she will get looks from the WNBA. Bottom line: If she has the skills, they will find her (and Almind also)

My fear is that after those two, the cupboard looks bare.

About that cupboard . . . any ideas on the stuff sittin' in there now? Valdner? Hatalsky? Umm . . .

Hatalsky at least looks like she knows what she's doing. Valdner I'm not so sure, but I guess we'll find out this year!!

Do y'all think the Bison will go with a small lineup, a 'center' plus Almind-Franks-Creamer-guard?

I've gotta say I love Molly 'n all but I don't think she'd have a prayer in the NBA. Well, maybe a prayer (I'd sure pray for her) but not a chance.

The Houston franchise of the WNBA actually has her on their watch list for the draft.....As a PG and thinker they like her, they criticize her D.
