While looking at other schools which demonstrate interest is probably one of the better indicators for those of us who have not seen them play, remember that this is far from foolproof. For example, Mike Bell got looks from some significant D1 schools, but was not ready to make significant contributions at BU last year. Certainly not saying he will not over the course of his career, but it is wrong to assume future stardom on this basis.

Most often these kids get a look at a higher level because of physical attributes and some potential, but are often lacking in other areas (or vice versa) which is why they do not end up at a higher level. These kids have potential to be stars in the PL, but some will never pan out.
