Subject: can bunnies eat cardboard and paper without harm?

My bunny is a huge chewer and she swallows some of what she chews at. I try to give her straw baskets and pine cones but she really likes cardbaord and papers. Will it harm her when she eats some of it? She needs lots of things to chew on at night or she does it at the bars of the cage which cannot be good. Is cardboard safe? I know I personnaly ate lots of paper when I was a kid and nothig happened, but I am no bunny :).
Also, are egg cartons ok ? my mice love them so maybe bunnies also? thanks:)
