Subject: do females also circle feet and lilac tree questions ??

I have problems with the acme board today so I am not sure if my questions are there , if you read them there sorry, ignore this post.
We were told at the shelter that our new rabbit is a girl, but since 2 days she likes to circle my feet, do females also do this? Or are they chances she is a he finally? We coudn't check, she hates to be upside down. That would be nice because we might afford a neuter but certainly not a spay :).
Also, I have some fresh lilac tree barnches with tiny leaves. My mice love them, but this time there is too much for them. Are they ok for rabbits? I read that branches with very young leaves are fine, is lilac tree ok? thanks in advance :).
