Subject: Thanks kitkat...hello again everyone...update on Eddie

Thank you kitkat for setting this up. Don't know how I could have
survived without my daily dose of rabbit discussion. I have learned so much.

I have just one bunny now, my 2 year old spayed female Chloe. Her little pal Eddie disappeared the day before Easter, and my many attempts at finding him have not been successful. She and I are both heartbroken. He was a delight.

So that our loss might not be a total waste, this might be helpful for you to read: The bunnies live at night in our workshed, and live during the day outside, but with access to the shed. Our yard has 6 foot tall cedar fence....BUT there is one area that has
only a 4 foot brick wall. It is my belief that Eddie jumped that 4 foot wall to go exploring...he was always so curious. One minute I looked outside and they were cuddling in the grass, and the next minute Eddie was gone. I hope you all will not underestimate the jumping power of your buns. Especially those of you in apartments with balconies. I am not worried about Chloe jumping.....she can barely jump up in her chair! Yes, I blame myself and I am not forgiving myself easily. My only hope is that he is either on the Rainbow Bridge or some little girl found him and her family didn't see my ad in our paper or call our animal shelter.

Love your bunnies like there is no tomorrow, everyone....sometimes there ISN'T a tomorrow.
