Honestly? It was more like introducing the rabbit to the kids, since Corky is the newest member of our household. Corky has, however, been a very good sport about being chased- and even does some chasing of her own. :)

As for doing it in reverse (introducing a new child into the rabbit's household), I imagine it would be the same as with any other pet- you have to take the pet's personality into account and approach it from there. Some pets won't mind, but others get very jealous.
