Posting for Mavi and Vaun at the same time 'cause I'm laaazy.

A large, lanky female wolf lounges in a patch of sun somewhere deep within the forest, beyond the boundaries where humans dare to go for fear of their lives. She looks almost like a red wolf, with sandy-dark fur tinged with red and a sort of red hood across her ears and neck (oh hell, look at the picture). She seems rather relaxed at the moment, though both ears stand upright and pivot restlessly about on her head. Nearby a pup sits, equally quiet and subdued, watching her mother.

The adult wolf yawns and gets up to stretch, then seemingly in the same motion scoops up the pup by the ruff and heads toward a thick glen of trees. She glances upward as a dark shape wings its way over her, casting a shadow across the fallen leaves and grass, but doesn't start or even make much of a reaction. The raven alights in a tree, both dark eyes watching the wolf and her pup, then disappears into the foliage, silent. Both seem to have some unspoken but unbroken communication, and have come to an agreement.
