Hi Alex!
Well, to solve your problem I think you must to do the folow:
Download the last version of FSUIPC.zip from FlightSim.com or AVSIM.com, after that install it in the Flight Simulator 2002, if you already have this in your FS just open it and go to the Thechnical part, mark the EXTEND BATTERY LIFE, thatīs it!
This will solve your problem, I hope!!!
(the ERJ-145 panel forum is located at FsNordic)
