~The crowd EXPLODES as “H-B-K” flashes over the big screen while “Sexy Boy” blasts over the speakers, signaling the return of the man himself, Shawn Michaels! HBK walks out in a beige three piece suit, stopping partway down and drops to his knees, bowing to the fans. He then makes his way down to the ring where he takes a mic, waiting out the chants of “HBK” before speaking.~


HBK: “Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is why I just keep... coming… back. For you. For this. But, this time, and I don’t mean any disrespect by this, I’ve come back for another reason. I’ve come back for one reason and one reason alone… and that reason is a bald headed, red faced, intense, brutal wrestling machine… Kurt Angle.”

~The Pennsylvania crowd cheers at the mention of their home state Hero, and HBK waits it out before continuing.~ “At WrestleMania, I may have… MAY HAVE… gotten a little trigger happy when I Super kicked you, Kurt. But the fact of the matter is that what I did wasn’t enough to warrant the beating you gave me in return. You didn’t just beat me up, Kurt… you mugged me. You jumped me after a long, hard fought match with a former champion in Jeff Jarrett. You picked your spot, you picked my bones, and you beat me to a bloody pulp.”

~Shawn shakes his head as he continues.~ “But you know what, Kurt… I’ve had worse. You gave me your absolute BEST. You put me on the shelf, and then tried to piss on my pride by calling me out. Well you know what, Angle… I don’t want to fight you… I want to WRESTLE you. The difference between you and the Heart Break Kid is simple… you’re jealous, and I just want to know. Some people might think I’m a little sick, but I like to think of myself as the BEST. I like to think of myself as the Icon… the Main Event… the SHOWSTOPPA… but others, probably including these people here tonight… see you as the best…”

~The crowd cheers their approval.~ “Well, pal, come the King of the Ring… I guess we’ll find out. I accept.”

~With that, Shawn drops the mic and his music plays us to a commercial break!~
