~The opening drumming to “You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire” starts before breaking out in the song, as Smackdown! General Manager Athene steps out at the top of the ramp, mic in hand. She heads down the ramp and climbs into the ring, and waits out the boos from the fans – which end surprisingly quickly, but the crowd is anticipating her response to Ric Flair – before speaking.~

“So, bet you all caught Raw, didn’t ya? And I guess you all want to hear what I have to say in response. Is Athene going to accept? Will I lay my job on the line at the King of the Ring?”

~She pauses for a moment, as the crowd waits in anticipation.~

“You bet your ass I will.” ~The crowd breaks out into cheers, but Athene talks over them.~ “Because it really doesn’t MATTER what I put on the line on Sunday night… all that matters is what Flair is gonna lose after I beat him. And it’s gonna be SWEET to show that old idiot that his time is up. Cause Flair, your years of driving 300 thousand miles a year across the country… of wrestling 300 days out of the year… of partying every night, of limousine ridin’, jet flyin’, kiss stealin’, WOOOO wheelin’ dealin’… HAVE CAUGHT UP WITH YOU. On Sunday I won’t beat the man, because you, Ric Flair, ARE NOT THE MAN. You are old, decrepit, and senile. And you’re done.”

~The crowd showers Athene with boos as she paces back in forth in the ring.~

“But you’re right about one thing, Ric. I did get screwed with the open contracts, at least as far as the Women’s Division is concerned. But I’m not the one responsible for THAT, because I wasn’t responsible for the Women’s Division. No, there was another woman responsible for that… Sable, I hired you and gave you ONE responsibility. ONE. Take care of the women’s division. And you couldn’t even do THAT?” ~She shakes her head.~ “Sable, get your ass out here. Now.”










~After a few moments, Sable walks out from the back to no music, making her way down to the ring, her head hanging low, knowing that nothing good can come of this. She walks up the ring steps and cautiously enters the ring, standing across from Athene.~

~Athene purses her lips, looking over Sable before speaking again.~ “I see you haven’t brought a mic out with you. Don’t want to try and explain yourself? …Nah. Can’t blame you. There’s no WAY that you can explain having driven away every. Single. Wrestling. Woman on the Smackdown roster. SINGLE-HANDEDLY.” ~She shakes her head.~ “Sable, you’re the executive of the Women’s Division on Smackdown. Well, thanks to you, there is no longer a Women’s Division on Smackdown. Sable, you’re out of a job. So, before the night is through, I want you out of my arena, and I don’t ever want to see you on Smackdown again.”

~Athene looks at Sable with disgust before dropping the mic, her theme playing up again as she leaves the ring, leaving Sable behind, looking miserable.~
