Muhammad Hassan walks out to a chorus of boos from the fans, followed closely by Daivari. Hassan stops at the top of the stage and looks out to the crowd in disgust before making his way to the ring, pulling his robe and headdress off and awaits his opponent.









“Whatever” follows over the speakers, and the crowd cheers the arrival of Chris Benoit! The Canadian Crippler slides into the ring, walks past Hassan and holds his fists above his head.


Referee Brian Hebner calls for the bell as both men circle one another, locking up. They battle for position and Benoit drops to a knee, going around him with a waist lock. Hassan hurries into a corner, grabbing onto the ropes and screams at the ref to break it up. As soon as Benoit pulls away, Muhammad goes for a cheap shot, but Chris pulls him face first into the mat with a Crossface!

Hassan latches onto the ropes for dear life, and Benoit breaks at the five count. Hassan then gets into it with Hebner, complaining of bias treatment in Benoit’s favor for allowing him to hold onto him until a five count! Annoyed, Benoit grabs Hassan from behind and takes him over with a German suplex to a pop from the crowd! Muhammad rebounds to his feet and Benoit meets him there with a kick to the gut, followed up by a chop! Hassan stumbles back into a corner where Benoit is right on him, chopping away! Daivari climbs onto the apron, and Benoit is quick to chop HIM off and to the floor this time! Hassan now charges in with a lariat, but Benoit ducks it and takes him over with another German! Chris holds on and rolls through, but rather than go for another, he pulls Hassan face down into the mat with a second Crossface attempt!

The crowd is firmly behind Benoit in this one, but he is forced to release the hold and keep Daivari at bay once more! This time, Khosrow jumps down onto the floor, egging Benoit on. As soon as Chris turns back to the ring, Hassan meets him with a boot to the mid section, and then JAMS him head first into the mat with a DDT! Muhammad quickly covers for a one, two, and ONLY a two count!

Angered at what he perceives as a slow count, Hassan begins to choke Benoit then and there on the mat! He breaks at five and then starts once more before pulling away and putting the boots to the Wolverine! Hassan then stands over Benoit and raises his arms to the heavens before mounting him, drilling him with repeated fists to the head! Muhammad now pulls him up and brings him crashing right back down to the mat with a back suplex, covering for yet another two-count.

Benoit rolls away and to the ropes, firing off a chop in defense as Hassan stalks in after him. Muhammad then drills him with a kick to the head before firing him across and charges in after him, but Benoit steps out of the way and Hassan goes crashing in chest first. He then stumbles out into another German suplex, followed up by a second, and then a third! The crowd cheers LOUDLY as Benoit goes to his feet, giving Hassan the SNOT ROCKET before going up to the top!

As soon as he sets his feet, Daivari rushes him again, but Benoit kicks him right back down to the floor! Hassan now pulls himself up and climbs the ropes, sending closed fists to Benoit’s head, trying to stop his momentum. However, there IS no stopping the Wolverine at this point as he begins to viciously head butt Hassan, sending him sailing off the top ropes and to the mat! Benoit then sets his feet, extends his arms to his side, and then flies off with the Swandive head butt to cheers from the fans, but he lands head first as Hassan rolls out of the way!

Benoit’s body jolts off the canvas and he rolls around in a great amount of pain on the mat. Hassan pulls himself together and stands above Benoit, pulling him into a Camel Clutch! The fans BOOM with boos as Hassan tries to pull his head off, and Benoit’s face goes beat red! Hebner continually asks Benoit if he gives, but the Crippler refuses and battles to his knees, and then to his feet, and stumbles backwards with Hassan on his back, driving him into the corner to break the hold!

Daivari is screaming so loudly on the outside that Hebner himself turns to him, telling him to shut up! As they get into it, Hassan wraps the tag rope around Benoit’s neck, choking him out! He releases the rope as soon as Hebner turns back to the action, and he cradles Benoit’s head, driving him face first into the mat with a Face Crusher! The fans then BOOM with boos as Hassan covers for the one, two, and three count!


Muhammad quickly rolls to the outside, holding the back of his head as Daivari raises his other arm in victory, and he will now advance to the Pay-Per-View to compete in the KOTR Semifinals!
