“World’s Greatest” hits the PA, and the crowd cheers as Charlie Haas bounces out onto the top of the stage! He makes his way down the ramp and to the ring, full of energy tonight, looking to follow his former tag team partner’s lead into the King of the Ring finals!







HALALAY EEYA EEYA AYA AYA AYAAAAAA







The crowd then showers the arena with boos as Muhammad Hassan and Daivari walk out from the back. Hassan steps out first, stopping at the top of the stage with Daivari a few feet behind him and raises his arms to the heavens, bringing forth even MORE jeers from the fans before making his way to ringside.


Marissa: “You have to keep in mind that this is Muhammad Hassan’s FIRST ever match on a Pay-Per-View.”

Dreamer: “Take it from experience, it’s not an easy thing to walk out there your first time, especially not with the stakes so high in the King of the Ring tournament, and against an athlete the caliber of a Charlie Haas.”


Hassan steps into the ring and removes his robe and headdress, staring ahead at Haas. He hands his gear to Daivari, who passes it along to a ringside attendant, but not before reading him the riot act of what will happen if he doesn’t treat it with respect. Daivari then exits to the floor as the bell sounds, leaving Hassan and Haas standing across from one another as the 15 minute time limit begins to tick down.


Jax: “Don’t get me wrong, Charlie Haas is a hell of a competitor, but after seeing what Hassan did to Chris Benoit on Smackdown!, he’s my pick to win it all tonight, hands down!”


Haas moves in on Hassan, pointing to an American flag that hangs from the rafters and tells him to “love it, or LEAVE IT!”, which gets a nice reception from the fans. Hassan retorts by SPITTING in Charlie’s face to a round of boos from the fans! Charlie, quick as a cat, takes Hassan down with a double leg take down and spins right over him, locking him into a front face lock! Muhammad slips free and goes for his legs, but Charlie locks onto his arm and rolls him onto his back. Hassan keeps moving, now just trying to free himself, and Haas ends up behind him with a waist lock, flattening him out on the mat and goes right back to the front face lock and holds firm until Hassan reaches out to his side and grabs the ropes, forcing Haas to let him go!

Muhammad snarls at Haas, who calls him right back on. Hassan takes his time, circling with Charlie and moves in, just to get trapped in a side headlock. Charlie drops down to a knee, wrenching down on it. Hassan then shoves out of it, sending Charlie into the ropes. Haas leapfrogs him and lands on his feet behind, connecting with a standing dropkick and covers for a two count to a pop from the crowd!

Hassan rolls free and to his knees in a corner, looking up at Haas in amazement of how quick he is. He shakes it off and confers with Daivari before moving in for yet another lock-up, but pulls back at the last second and rakes him across the eyes! The fans then BOOM with boos as Hassan shoves Haas into a corner, choking him there and follows it up with a flurry of boots to the gut! He then pulls Charlie away from the corner with a snap mare, and then follows it up with a HUGE punt to the back heard across the arena! As Charlie arches his back, Hassan drives a knee into it, pulling back on his head, damn near in a choke!

The ref checks it closer and deems that it IS in fact a choke and starts the mandatory count to break it. Muhammad does break it, but he simply pushes Charlie’s shoulders down to the mat and the ref goes to count, but stops once he realizes that Hassan is choking him AGAIN! Muhammad plays innocent, and then does it AGAIN! The fans shower him with boos as Charlie kicks his feet out on the mat, gasping for air!

Hassan watches as Haas crawls away, and he gives him a nice shove in the ass into a corner and then places his foot to his throat, choking him out some more! He breaks at the four count, almost the five count, and holds his arms above him to the heavens, soaking in all of the boos from the fans. He pulls Charlie to his feet and slaps him across the face, telling him to wake up and fight! He goes to fire him across, but Haas holds on and pulls him right into an over the head belly-to-belly suplex!

The crowd gets behind Charlie as he tries to pull himself together, meeting Hassan with a fist to the mouth. Hassan counters with a knee to the mid section and a swinging neck breaker, pinning his shoulders down for a two count. Charlie goes to his feet now, fighting back with a boot to the mid section and a closed fist to the mouth, followed up by a second, and then a third, now fighting for his life against this vicious machine! He shoves him into the ropes but Hassan reverses the whip. As soon as Charlie hits the ropes, Daivari reaches into the ring, snatching onto his foot! As Charlie struggles to free himself, Hassan rushes in from behind, but Charlie side steps and goes around with a German suplex!

The crowd pops as Haas goes to his feet now, pulling down his straps, channeling his mentor, hometown hero Kurt Angle, and goes on the attack with the crowd firmly behind him! He drops Hassan with consecutive clotheslines and fires him across, taking him over with a hip toss on the return. As soon as Muhammad reaches his feet, Haas trips him up, locking him into the Haas of Pain! The crowd goes WILD, but Haas is forced to release the hold as Daivari climbs onto the apron! Charlie drills him with a fist, sending him crashing to the floor and turns back to Hassan, who cradles his head and goes for the Facecrusher, but Haas goes low, lifting him onto his shoulders and drops back with a Samoan drop, covering for the one, two, and TWO count only!

Hassan scrambles away and into a corner, drilling the stalking Haas with a kick to the knee on the return. He then pulls him into the corner and leans his forearms into his throat, once again utilizing the choke the its fullest effect! Referee Chad Patten warms him to release the hold and starts his count, and Hassan breaks at four. He then goes right back to it and Charlie tried to escape the corner, simply driving his forearms into his gullet and refuses to let go this time until Patten reaches the count of five. Patten has now seen enough and calls for the bell, Disqualifying Hassan!


“World’s Greatest” plays over the PA as Bridget Carter announces Charlie Haas as the winner via disqualification! Angered, Hassan tries to plead with the referee, but when he realizes that he’s fighting a lost cause, he grabs him by the head and DRILLS him into the mat with the Facecrusher!

The fans BOOM with boos as Hassan now turns to Charlie, waits for him to stumble out of the corner and jams him face first into the mat now! Muhammad goes to his feet, SPITTING on both Haas and Patten and holds his arms up above his head as his music plays!
