“Everlong” plays over the speakers, bringing out the former Women’s Champion and number one contender, Nat Taylor! She makes her way down the stage, slapping hands with the fans on her way to the ring, climbing inside. She leans back in the ropes, stretching out, looking forward to her first title shot since losing the championship to Trish Stratus all the way back in January.





The lights in the arena go out as…







OH! It’s Time to Rock ‘N Roll!







… “Rock ‘N Roll” blasts over the speakers, and a silhouette is seen at the top of the stage. Moments later, out steps the Women’s World Champion, Trish Stratus! The lights come back on as she pumps the championship belt in the air above her head, slapping it on her way down to the ring. Once inside, she gives Nat a nasty look before going from side to side, holding the belt up for all to see, welcoming all of the boos as if they were cheers.


Trish then hands the championship over and gets in a ready stance as the bell sounds, grinning over at Nat. Nat prepares herself, circling the ring with the champ, getting ready for a lock-up. Trish gets out of position just before the lock-up and looks out to the crowd, pointing over at Nat. “Isn’t she just SO cute, trying to be all serious?” This fires Nat up and she takes Trish to the mat with a double leg take-down, rolling on top of her for a two count. Right back on their feet, Nat takes the champ over with an arm drag, followed up by a fireman’s carry into a rear chin lock to a pop from the crowd. Trish grabs at the air and gets nothing as she goes to her knees, and then to her feet, shoving Nat off into the ropes; however, Nat comes rebounding back with a shoulder block that sends Trish rolling all the way across the ring and to the outside!

Trish hits the floor and goes right to her feet, pointing at a fan in the front row and tells him to shut up! As soon as she turns back to the ring, Nat holds onto the top rope and slips out through the bottom ones with a double boot to Trish’s chest, sending her flailing into the barricade! The crowd cheers as Nat then drills her with a fist to the head and rolls her back into the ring, in firm control. Trish, however, dives on Nat as she follows into the ring and grabs her by the hair, slamming her head into the mat repeatedly! With Nat now on her back, Trish steps on her hair and pulls her up by the arms, bringing forth loud screams from the challenger!

Trish finally breaks it and stands back, shrugging her shoulders innocently. Nat crawls forward and into the ropes, leaning on the middles ones and rubbing the back of her head. Trish takes a page out of her man’s playbook and does a quick two step before hitting the ropes, charging in, but Nat rolls out of the way and Trish crotches herself! The crowd pops as Nat stands in wait behind her, taking her over with a German suplex with a bridge, holding on for a two count!

Trish rolls free and to her feet, and then walks right into a belly-to-belly suplex for another two-count! Nat has re-taken control of this match and she fires Trish across, ducking her head for a backdrop. Trish stops herself and gives Nat a swift kick to the chest, straightening her out and goes for a clothesline, but Nat ducks it and catches Trish with a spinning spine buster, holding her down for the one, two, and TWO only as Trish rolls her shoulder free at 2.99999!

Trish now crawls into a corner, back first and sits on her knees, begging for a time-out! Nat stalks in after her, but Trish grabs her by the front of her ring shorts and pulls her chest first into the corner pads, and then rolls her up with a schoolboy, raising her feet onto the ropes for the one, two, No! Nat kicks out just in time!

Trish then quickly grabs a fist full of Nat’s hair and pulls her into the corner, climbing the ropes and sits on the top. She wraps her arms around Nat’s neck and leans back, lifting her off the mat with her feet kicking wildly, choking the hell out of her! Trish lets her feet fall back down to the mat before she can get DQ’ed, and then simply does it again! The ref finally forces a break and Nat falls forward to her knees, gasping for air. Trish stands perched on the second ropes and takes a bow for the crowd, welcoming the boos! She then measures Nat and flies off with a second rope bulldog, crunching her face first into the mat! The champ dusts her hands off before rolling the challenger onto her back, grinning as she hooks the leg for the one, two, thre- No! Nat kicks out AGAIN!

Trish is now LIVID, pulling at her hair with her eyes popping out of her head! She argues with the official before giving up and grabbing Nat, hoisting her up and seats her on the top rope. Trish then backs out and then rushes in, going for the Stratusphere top rope Hurricanrana, but Nat counters, catching her legs and jumps off the ropes, immediately pulling back with a single leg Boston Crab!! The crowd chants “TAP!” repeatedly, but Trish scrapes and claws her way to the ropes, forcing a break!

Trish now struggles to pull herself up, and as soon as she does, Nat cradles her head, running to the corner and springs out, going for a Tornado DDT, but Trish counters, turning in a half circle and launches her chest first into the corner! As Nat rebounds out, Trish hooks her head this time and rushes the ropes, springing off the top for the Stratusfaction Bulldog, but Nat flips her backwards! Trish lands on her feet, ducks a charging Nat “Matrix” style, turns on a dime and BLASTS her with the Trish Kick, right in the mouth! Nat goes crumbling to the mat and Trish dives onto her for the cover, getting a one, two, and TWO only as Nat drapes her foot across the bottom ropes!

Trish is now in complete shock, but rage quickly takes over. With Nat’s foot across the bottom rope, Trish jumps over and comes CRASHING down onto it with her butt! Nat goes flopping out of the corner on the mat, screaming out in pain as she clutches at her calf and ankle! Trish is relentless now as she stomps ALL over the leg, pulling it up and drives a series of elbow drops to her inner thigh! Nat simply howls on the mat, trying to pull her leg away from Trish, but the champ is completely focused on the leg and starts to put the boots to it before grabbing her other one, rolling her over into the Walls of Jericho! Trish then lets the good leg drop and sits back in a single crab, pulling back HARD and focusing completely on the injured limb! Nat continues to scream out in pain as Trish sits back in it, and she is then forced to TAP OUT, awarding the match to the champion!


“Rock ‘N Roll” blasts over the speakers as Trish refuses to release the hold! She continues to apply pressure until officials hit the ring, forcing her off! She then swipes the championship belt from one of the refs and raises it above her head, going from side to side in the ring, making sure that everyone sees who the champ is. Trish then grins as she looks down on Nat before exiting the ring, heading to the back as medics rush down to check on the injured challenger.
