As Raw comes back from the commercial, JBL is shown working on Rock in the corner. He puts his dukes up and starts giving hard palm strikes to the side of his head repeatedly.
After a few shots, Rock blocks one, and then starts to fire some of his own to a pop from the crowd, working JBL to the other side. Bradshaw is taken by surprise with the shots. Rock goes for an Irish whip into the ropes, but JBL comes back with a shoulderblock, sending the People's Champ to the mat. He then backs up and drops an elbow across his back, moving to his feet and driving down another one. JBL spins around and starts blasting away at Rock's forehead this time, delivering shot after shot to him. JBL yanks Rock's under shirt over his head, wrapping it around his neck and drives the wind out of him!

JBL yanks him up by the shirt and hoists him high and hard to the mat with a powerbomb, knocking the wind out of the Rock. Bradshaw then jumps across him and waits for a pin count, but Rock rolls his shoulder free at 2.99999! JBL stands up and answers the kickout with a boot to the back of his skull! He lifts the Rock up and sends him right into the corner, charging right in after him with a clothesline in the corner! JBL watches as he moves out, measures him and then gives a sinus clearing right hand to Rock's face, dropping him to the mat.

The crowd boos LOUDLY as JBL takes it to the Rock, and the Great One just can't seem to get going. "C'mon Rock...the boys answered you! I answered you! Show me somethin that y'learned in Hollywood!" Just then, Rock comes up with a fist to the mouth, followed up by a second, and then a third. JBL, however, reverses the Irish whip and fires him across, but Rock comes off the ropes with a flying clothesline! JBL hits the mat and rebounds straight to his feet, and Rock is there to take him over with a Samoan drop to a pop from the fans, covering for a two count from the quick explosion!

Rock now pulls Bradshaw up by the head and shoves him into a corner, nailing him with a right hand, and then a series of boots to the mid section, stomping a mud hole in his ass! As JBL crumbles to his ass, Rock gives him a double bird and follows it up with ANOTHER stomp! Rock now pulls him out of the corner and sets up for the Rock Bottom, but JBL frees himself with a few elbow shots. As Rock back steps, JBL comes off the ropes, going for the Clothesline from Hell, but Rock catches him with a belly-to-belly toss!

JBL pulls himself up by the ropes as the fans go insane for the People's Champ! He blinks himself back to the real world and gets pulled back by the Rock. The Great One sends a series of rights to him, finally pulling one back, spitting in his hand and leveling JBL with a shot! Rock then bounds off of the ropes, coming at him with a flying elbow shot. JBL steels himself and catches Rock in midair, pausing for a moment to enjoy a smile, then tosses him over his shoulder with a fallaway slam! JBL goes and yanks back on his leg, waiting for the pin. The ref drops into position and gives a 1....2....and STILL only a 2 count as Rock shrugs his shoulder out.

JBL gets to his knees, fuming at this point, and decides he's going to polish this one off immediately. He pulls Rock up to his knees and backs away, waving his arm out and sizing Rock up. JBL rushes the Rock as soon as he's to his feet, and aims a Clothesline from Hell at his head! Rock ducks it and JBL collides with the ref, wiping him out! The Texan looks in shock at his miss and turns right into a Rock Bottom!

Rock looks all around, and then moves over to the referee, trying to shake him awake. Meanwhile, AMY WEBER appears at ringside, and she slides a steel chair in to JBL! As Rock tries to shake the ref awake, JBL pulls himself up, steel chair in hand, ready to inflict some pain. However, as he waits for Rock to turn around...


STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN slides into the ring behind him, and spins him around into a kick, wham, and a STUNNER! JBL, and the chair go flying, and Rock catches a falling JBL with ANOTHER Rock Bottom! Austin kicks the chair to the outside as Rock tosses his elbow pad out to the crowd, goes from side to side, throws up the Stone Cold Salute and DROPS the People's Elbow! The ref crawls back into position, counting the one, two, and THREE count!


JBL rolls out of the ring as Austin slides in, calling for a few beers and the celebration is on for Rock’s return to RAW!
