~When we return from the commercial break, we take you to ringside where the ring is in full Highlight Reel décor, with “Y2J” Chris Jericho standing in the middle of the ring!~









“Last week, I signed my life away to Ric Flair for something that I should have had in the first place… a rematch for MY Heaaaaaavyweeeeeeight Championship! Ever since I took out “The Gaaaaaame” Triple H back in September, Raw AND the Heavyweight Championship… have been… JEEEEEEEERICHOOOOOO!”

~The crowd pops as he continues.~ “I was the King of the World… I was the HIGHLIGHT… of the NIGHT… and I was champion. Raw was simply… moi. At WrestleMania, Y2J and Randy Orton put on a clinic, and admittedly, I dropped the ball for three… simple... seconds. But last week, Randy Orton and the Heavyweight Championship, were mine… and don’t you ever… EEEEEEEEEVER… say that Chris Jericho doesn’t deserve it agaaaaaain!”

~Jericho looks out to the crowd, who begin to have a mixed reaction for his complaining.~ “But because of one man, a man who I thought I had left behind on Smackdown for ever and ever, decided to take MY spotlight and cause me the Heavyweight Championship in the process… and that man is my guest on the Highlight Reel tonight… Theeeee ROCK!”

WHAT THE ROCK…

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiis Coooooooking!








~The crowd pops LOUDLY as The Rock makes his way from the back, sporting black track pants and a “ROCK is RAW” T-Shirt. He enters the ring and goes to walk past Jericho and to a corner, but Jericho grabs him by the arm, holding him back.~


~This catches the crowd’s attention, and the music is cut as Rock looks over at Jericho in shock. Jericho continues to hold onto him as he speaks.~


Jericho: “No games tonight, Rock, I want some answers.”

~Rock glares at Jericho for a moment before pulling his arm away, taking a mic from his stool and begins to speak.~ “First and foremost, Chris Jericho… don’t you ever… AND THE ROCK MEANS… ever… grab The Rock like that again.” ~He paces around the ring.~ “The Rock understands your hostility, last week didn’t go down the way you had planned, but let The Rock tell you this… it wasn’t… my… fault.”

~Jericho’s eyes practically jump out of his head as he juts his jaw in shock.~ “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA! What do you MEAN it wasn’t… your… fault? If it wasn’t for that fat piece of shit Earl Hebner and the “People’s BITCH”… Chris Jericho would be on top of the WORLD as a three time Heavyweight Champ, babay!”

~Now it’s Rock who looks on in shock, speaking right up.~ “People’s bitch? People’s BITCH? Let The Rock call it as it is… the only bitch that The Rock saw last week was Randy Orton’s… and his initials are non other than ‘Y… 2… J.’”

~Jericho now gets right in Rock’s face, butting chests with him, laying his own verbal Smackdown! onto him without the mic until they’re interrupted by…~













~… The Authority, Sean O’Haire and Batista walk out from the back! O'Haire tosses a mic in his hand and speaks first.~ "If you two are done with the "also ran" contest, you're forgetting one... simple... thing. The last Raw was Randy Orton's night. Just as the Raw before that, and Wrestlemania before that. This one? Is OURS. Rock, you got involved in Dynasty business. Jericho, you WERE Dynasty business. That makes the former a target, and the latter an unfinished annoyance."

~Batista looks over his partner and then to the ring, cracking his knuckles as he moves to the apron. O'Haire follows him with a step up the stairs and keeps speaking.~ "So...we can do the normal thing and set up a match for later on...Or...you can test your luck and see if you even MAKE it to the locker room now..."


O'Haire drops the mic and leaps in over the top rope, followed by Batista with a head full of steam! Rock and Jericho look to one another, not wanting to team up together, but are forced to as The Authority attack! Rock side steps Batista and sends him sailing through the ropes and to the floor while Jericho hammers away on O'Haire! Sean then stumbles back and forth between Rock and Jericho right hands until they toss HIM over the top and to the floor now next to Batista!

A referee races down to the ring and slides inside, calling for a bell as Rock and Jericho get back into one another’s face!
