~When we return from the break, we go backstage where the Raw General Manager, Ric Flair, is pacing back and forth with a grin on his face.~











~Ric stops and slaps BOTH Batista and O’Haire across the chest.~


Ric: “This is GREAT! You guys, you’re on a ROLL! Tonight was Chris Jericho and The Rock… last week was Haas and Benjamin… and at the King of the Ring, God bless their souls, it’ll be Evolution!”

~Batista and O’Haire nod their heads in agreement.~

Ric: “Nobody around here gives a damn about Adonis Jordan, but Nick Dinsmore will and always will be a member of The Authority. As we speak, my Nicky D is walking around with a DYNASTY short on, and you never know, by the end of the week, Nick Dinsmore may once again be RAW.”

~Ric grins from ear to ear.~ “And if Athene has a problem with that, then she can try hard and grow a pair and DO something about it! WOOOOOOOO!”

~ O'Haire looks at his partner and then speaks.~ "Ric...I know Nick is your boy and all...but have you actually WATCHED Smackdown recently? He's...well...I kind of have reservations..."

~Ric's eyes grow wide.~ "He's STILL Nicky D!" ~Slaps him across the chest.~ "And DON'T you under-estimate him come the KOTR!"

~O'Haire looks to the side and then back to Flair.~ "No...no he's NOT. That's the issue. Neither David nor myself underestimate him in the ring. He's still good to go there...the thing is..."

~Batista finally speaks.~ "What Sean's trying to say...Nick has always been YOUR boy, Ric. He's been the "next Nature Boy" in your eyes for so long...that you went blind to just what's happened to him. Do you even think, for the slightest of seconds, that you're going to be able to spend half the show as General Manager, and the other half as Dinsmore's babysitter?" ~Batista shakes his head as he speaks.~ "Ric..I've got just as much respect for Nick and what he's done as you do. But I'm telling you this. He's not worth the trouble at this point."

~Ric flares up, goes to speak, but pauses. He goes to speak once more, but pauses again, standing with his hands on his hips.~
