Subject: WrestleMania Weekend!

“Down To My Last” by Alter Bridge plays over the speakers as a promo video showing “This Year in UCW” for 2004 plays over a big screen, showing the year’s classic highlights. We are shown random shots of Jeff Jarrett, Jesse Hart, Triple H, Trish Stratus, Chris Jericho, Athene, Randy Orton, John Cena, David Flair, and Lauren, amongst others.

And to those to which we sing,
We are honored you let us in
I remember the thoughts of many things,
Of the glory that you bring

Highlights of last WrestleMania are shown such as John Cena defeating Randy Orton, Chris Jericho defeating Mick Foley, Lauren defeating Trish Stratus and Victoria, Bret Hart defeating Vince McMahon, Stone Cold defeating The Rock and the implosion of Evolution culminating with a Rock & Austin beer bath, Jesse Hart joining up with Stephanie McMahon to become the World Champion, and Triple H uncrowning Jeff Jarrett of the Heavyweight Championship with Scott Steiner as the special guest referee.

I was never the right one to dare to dream,
It's funny what this life has done to me now
You were always the only,
To help me see there was a road I must find,
A road that was mine

We then go through AJ Styles’ journey through the King of the Ring, and the pains he suffered to become King. We then follow Jesse Hart through the Royal Rumble, starting with his loss to Brock Lesnar and the betrayal of Athene, and then his path through the Rumble itself. Stomping all over Athene before eliminating her, and then his elimination of Kurt Angle to become the Royal Rumble champion, followed by the bloody highlights of his No Way Out match with Athene and their handshake at the end.

But I'm down to my last,
I'm standing here alone
Looking back, on it all
But I'm down to my last,
I'm ready but I'm wrong,
And I'm blind to it all

The birth of Evolution is shown with a split screen of Authority highlights. The screen then begins to shake as highlights of both John Cena and The Rock being thrown out of the group are shown, followed up be a series of RKO’s, culminating with the one on Triple H for the birth of Dynasty.

And to the world to which we sing,
Want to try to do us in
I remember your name and I know your face
Can't forgive and can't erase

UCW’s women then come onto the screen, and we show Lauren’s dominance of the division before being uncrowned by Athene. We then see Athene’s dominance before Nat became the champion, carrying the title for five months before Trish Stratus became the queen of the mountain, concluding with a stare down between her and Lauren.

I was never the right one
To bear the weight of something fueled by words
I'd learn to hate
You were always the only
To help me see that to love is to shine
In your world, blind

Highlights of Tommy Dreamer are shown such as clips from ECW, his friendship and troubles with Jesse Hart, focusing on him giving up in the War Games in order to save Jesse Hart. Many different images then flood the screen of the good times and the bad, and Dreamer’s smile fades from the screen as we go into a video package for Lance Storm which shows his first World title victory over Bret Hart. Classic highlights with Chris Benoit, Jesse Hart, and Chris Jericho are shown, especially his last Heavyweight title victory in the Hell in the Cell, followed up by his emotional farewell with Chris Jericho.

But I'm down to my last
I'm standing here alone
Looking back on it all
But I'm down to my last
I'm ready but I'm wrong
And I'm right to it all

Many shots of matches involving Kurt Angle, Jesse Hart, and Chris Benoit are shown, focusing in on Jesse Hart tapping out to Angle at the King of the Ring. Survivor Series picks up with the Elimination Chamber and the blood that flowed through it, zooming in on the bloody faces of Jesse Hart and Brock Lesnar, and then random bloody shots of Shawn Michaels, David Flair, and Triple H, and we culminate with glory shots of all involved, and The Undertaker’s dark image emerges.

But I'm down to my last
Well I'm ready but I'm wrong,
And I'm scared of it all

The video begins to wrap up with shots of competitors winning their respected championships such as Diamond Dallas Page, Brock Lesnar, Jeff Jarrett, Jesse Hart, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Jesse Hart once again, and then Chris Jericho in Lance Storm’s final match.

But I'm down to my last
I'm ready but I'm wrong
And I'm blind to it all
But I'm down to my last
And I'm ready but I'm wrong
And I'm blind to it all

Shots of Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus together are shown, as well as images of Randy Orton and Charlie O’Neale, David Flair and Randi McMahon, Kane and Victoria, and even Jesse Hart and Athene. The screen then begins to fade with shots of the two champions, Jesse Hart and Chris Jericho, as well as the Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus. As all three images remain still on the screen before they begin to fade as images of Triple H, Randy Orton, and Lauren appear.

We then take you to center stage where Randi McMahon walks out from one side, and Carlito “Caribbean” Cool walks out from another, and they meet up in the middle, both dressed to impress. They welcome us to the Slammy Awards for the year of 2004 and introduce themselves as the hosts, to which Carlito adds in “… And Dat – Da’s Cool!”

The Rock is up on stage to introduce the first award of the night – one that he has won two of the last three years, and that’s Promo of the Year. Rock proudly awards the Slammy to last year’s winner and founder of “Thuganomics”, The United States Champion John Cena! The fans in attendance go wild for Cena as he accepts the award, giving his speech via freestyle.

Randi McMahon and Carlito are there to present the next award, that of Feud of the Year. Randi says that as a member of last year’s winner in this category, it gives her great pleasure to award this Slammy to Jesse Hart and Kurt Angle! They both make their way to the stage, Carlito handing a Slammy to Jesse, and Randi to Kurt. They stare one another down before talking about their feud – and Kurt ends it with “… and I made you TAP” before heading back to his seat.

Jesse is left up on stage, and as the winner of the Face of the Year award for the past two years, he has been given the honor of presenting it to the new blood, John Cena! Cena makes his way up to accept his second Slammy of the night, and he busts a rhyme on both Jesse Hart and Kurt Angle, saying that he’s taking Kurt out at WrestleMania, and then he’ll be cutting his teeth on Hart next.

The Nat and Stacy Show are reunited on stage to present Athene and Lauren the Slammy for Feud of the Year. They shake hands once on stage, but that about does it for formalities as Athene takes the time to talk about “bigger and better things”, such as her match with Shane on Sunday. Lauren interrupts her to make mention that if the women’s belt was so below Athene, how is it that she lost the title so shortly after winning it?

Stacy then interrupts the two to present the next award, one that both Lauren and Athene are up for, which is of course the Best Female Face Slammy. After a lengthy pause, Stacy announces the winner to be none other than the Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus! Trish acts as though she is completely shocked and she fan’s herself as she makes her way onto the stage. She squirms between both Lauren and Athene to accept her award, and makes mention that it’s much lighter than HER Women’s Championship belt.

Hall of Fame inductee Shane Douglas is now on the stage to an ovation from the crowd, and he awards the Slammy for Heel of the Year to Jesse Hart! He also hands Jesse two other Slammy’s, one for Biggest Upset of the Year for winning the Royal Rumble after already losing the World Championship earlier that evening to Brock Lesnar, and another for Most Controversial Moment of the year for joining with Stephanie McMahon at last year’s WrestleMania. Hart beams onstage, now having accepted four Slammy’s this evening, but his mood soon dampers as Stephanie McMahon makes her way up, taking claim of her half of the Slammy for her actions at last year’s WrestleMania. She takes this opportunity to ask Jesse what big scheme he has up his sleeve to save his ass THIS year, against Triple H.

Paul Heyman is our next presenter, and he makes a speech about how much he loves “bad girls”. He is of course there to present the Female Heel of the Year award to none other than the now two year in a row winner, Lauren! Lauren comes up on stage to accept her second Slammy of the night, keeping her above and beyond any other female in overall Slammy awards.

Vince and Linda McMahon talk about what it takes to make a successful relationship, and despite the fact that neither of these two couples do any of the above mentioned, they are there to present the Slammy for Couple of the Year to co-winners Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus & Randy Orton and Charlie O’Neale! All four make their way to the top of the stage, but it soon turns into a stare down between Jericho and Orton.

Last Year’s Rookie of the Year, John Cena, is now up on stage to present this year’s award to co-winners and WrestleMania opponents come this Sunday, AJ Styles and Chris Sabin! They jaw back and forth with one another, with mainly Styles debating the fact that he has to share this award with Sabin, claiming that he won the King of the Ring and the International Championship while Sabin has done nothing. Chris said that perhaps he has not been as successful as Styles to date, but he is the “Future”, and the “Future”, come this Sunday, will bring him the International Championship.

Last Year’s female winner, Victoria, is onstage to present this year’s award to Angel Williams. Team Canada member Petey Williams bolts out of his seat to give Angel a HUGE spinning hug as all of the other members of the group begin to bark their approval. Petey goes up on stage with her, applauding with excitement as she makes her acceptance speech, giving all of the credit to none other than the best female wrestler to ever grace this business, Trish Stratus.

Victoria is told to remain on stage as Brock Lesnar is out to present her and AJ Styles with the Curtain Call awards for best finishing movesets.

The presenters for Tag Team of the Year are former champions themselves, Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and Lance Storm. They talk about how they came up together and what made them such a successful team, and they relay this to this year’s winners, “The World’s Greatest Tag Team” Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin! Charlie and Shelton happily accept the award and make their claim to become the most decorated tag team in the history of the company by the end of WrestleMania and the Tables, Ladders and Chairs III.

Bobby “The Brain” Heenan talks about how important managers are to the careers of wrestlers, and how one man in specific in this day and age has shared his wisdom to make everyone around him better. He says that that man is himself, but he was not a nominee, so the winner by default is Ric Flair! The Nature Boy styles and profiles onto the stage, partaking in a “Wooooo’ing” contest with the fans.

Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall take over the set, sporting black and white n.W.o T-shirts, holding up the ‘Wolfpac’ sign to the crowd, talking about how a successful stable completely takes OVER. They make mention that although no stable could ever top the “New World Order”, “Evolution’s” dominance into “Dynasty” has made them the clear winner for Stable of the Year. Randy Orton and Charlie O’Neale lead Adonis Jordan, Nick Dinsmore, and Matt Morgan to the stage, and Orton makes mention that after “cutting the fat” by ousting The Rock and John Cena, that Evolution was able to evolve, and they will complete their journey at WrestleMania by bringing home the Heavyweight and Undisputed Tag Team Championships of the world.

Carlito talks a good talk and presents Jax with the Announcer of the Year award to boos from the fans.

Randi McMahon then awards her cousin Stephanie McMahon with the award for Authority Figure of the Year, and Stephanie says that it’s more than fitting that a McMahon win this award, because the McMahon’s are the final word in this business, and ESPECIALLY the final word on the Hart’s.

Eric Bischoff then makes a surprise appearance to a mixed reaction from the fans, and he is there to present the Brand of the Year award to Shane McMahon and his Smackdown! crew! Shane-O-Mac makes his way onto the stage, inviting Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley with him. As they begin to make their speech, the current General Manager and World Champion Athene and Jesse Hart storm the stage, staking their claim that THEY are the sole reason for the success of Smackdown! Shane and Athene have a few words as they stare one another down, and Jesse points a finger in Foley’s face, telling him that he’d BETTER stay in retirement if he knows what’s good for him.

The crowd then goes WILD as Scott Steiner makes his way onto the stage, clearing it of all of the Smackdown! people! The crowd begins to chant “STEINER! STEINER! STEINER!” as he re-invites Athene onto the stage to award her and Lauren the Slammy for Match of the Year! Once onstage, Lauren shares a hug with her husband before stating that the King of the Ring was NOTHING compared to what she’s going to do to Trish Stratus this coming Sunday at WrestleMania.

Scott remains onstage to present the Match of the Year award to what he calls the “best damned triple threat match ever” to Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and Jesse Hart! Once onstage, Hart attempts to hog the spotlight, but he is confronted by both Benoit and Angle, who then go on to challenge him to a rematch if he somehow surpasses Triple H at WrestleMania!

The final inductee into the Hall of Fame for tomorrow night makes his way to center stage for the last two awards of the evening, wrestler’s of the year, and for the third year in a row, he presents the Slammy to Lauren! She accepts her fourth Slammy of the night, and goes on to say that we haven’t seen anything yet, and that the remainder of 2005 will go to show that Lauren, not Trish, not Athene, not anyone else, not even a McMahon, will go down in history as the most dominating female that this business has ever seen.

And finally, The Hitman is ready to present us with the final Slammy of the night, and it goes to the Wrestler of the Year! He says that after falling short by one vote for the previous two years, he has now won the award by one vote, uncrowning the winner of the past two years, this year’s Wrestler of the Year is none other than his son, Jesse Hart! The World Champion stands at center stage with all six of his Slammy’s on the night on the podium in front of him, and he glares out at Triple H, making sure that he knows that this is Jesse Hart’s world, and this is all the proof in the world that he needs. However, is this isn’t enough, this Sunday night at WrestleMania, Jesse Hart will finally put Hunter in his place, and that’s on his knees like the BITCH that he is.

As the crowd remains stunned at how Jesse Hart has ended his speech, Randi McMahon and Carlito thank everyone for coming and watching at home, they hype the Hall of Fame for tomorrow night, and remind everyone at home that this will be the BIGGEST WrestleMania of all time! And Dat… Da’s Cool!
