Two days before the biggest WrestleMania of them all – WRESTLEMANIA 5 – Unified Championship Wrestling will pay the ultimate homage to three former superstars who sacrificed everything they had to make UCW what it is today, by inducting them into the first EVER UCW HALL OF FAME!









The first of these three superstars to be honoured was a driving force behind the revolution of professional wrestling from the “old school” to the Exxxtreme. He was not only the first ever ECW World Champion, but he is a two-time UCW World Heavyweight Champion. He is none other than “The Franchise” Shane Douglas!




















Tonight we will announce the second inductee into the 2005 class. He lives, breathes, and eats professional wrestling still to this day as he continues to run his own promotion and train the young up-and-comers. He is quite possibly the most technically sound “wrestler” ever and he is a two-time UCW World Heavyweight Champion. He is the “Excellence of Execution”, “The Best There is, The Best There Was, and The Best That There Ever Will Be”, he is Bret “Hitman” Hart!



















Join all of the UCW superstars on April 2, 2005 to induct Shane Douglas and Bret Hart, along with the final inductee into the Hall of Fame class of 2005!
